Yala Adventure is offering an 16-day Everest 60th anniversary trek targeting Everest Base Camp May 29 for one night sty at Gorak shep. The trip commemorates the first known climb to the summit on May 29, 1953, by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay. As an overview of the program, the Everest Trek takes into one of the most spectacular regions of Nepal where the Sherpa culture thrives amongst the highest peaks in the world. The Everest massif as seen from Thyangboche is a sight you will never forget, and the hospitality of these tough mountain people will remain with you as along time memory.

 20th May, Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport & transfer to hotel.
 21st May, Day 02: Trekking preparation in Kathmandu/Free day
 22nd May, Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2700m) and trek to Phakding (2600m)
 23rd May, Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3450m)
 24th May, Day 05: Excursion to Thame Monastery (3800m) and back to Namche
 25th May, Day 06: Trek to Thyangboche (3880m)
 26th May, Day 07: Trek to Pheriche (4250m)
 27th May, Day 08: Trek to Lobuche (4930m)
 28th May, Day 09: Trek to Gorak Shep (5130m) and excursion to Kala Pattar (5545m). Celebrating
 Everest  day eve on that night with some special programmes.

 29th May, Day 10: Excursion Everest BC and back to Dingboche (4700m)
 30th May, Day 11: Trek to Thyangboche (3880m)
 31st May, Day 12: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3400m)
 01st June, Day 13: Trek to Lukla (2800m)
 02nd June, Day 14: Lukla fly back to Kathmandu and free day
 03rd June, Day 15: Kathmandu free day
 04th June, Day 16: Transfer to international airport for departure
